VERITAS- VK IAS Current Affairs Program 2027

Instead of following news chronologically, VERITAS organises Current Affairs subject-wise and thematically across International Relations, Economy, Environment, Governance, Science & Technology, Internal Security, Society and other relevant GS areas. Every important development is placed inside a permanent theme and continuously updated. Students therefore do not start Current Affairs again every month, or separately for Prelims and Mains.

The VERITAS Difference

1. Current Affairs is organised by themes, not months

You build a limited number of meaningful themes instead of accumulating monthly magazines.

2. Your notes evolve

For example An India–China Relations note created in August 2026 may become v2 in June 2027. The old note is updated. It is not replaced by another compilation.

3. Prelims and Mains are not treated as separate Current Affairs subjects

You learn once and retrieve differently.

For Mains, you analyse.

For Prelims, you recognise, connect and eliminate.

After Prelims, you reactivate the same knowledge for Mains.

4. Revision is built into the program

Important themes repeatedly return through quizzes, cumulative tests and retrieval exercises.

Revision therefore becomes part of the course design rather than something students are expected to manage independently.

5. Testing diagnoses the problem

A wrong answer is not treated merely as a wrong answer.

The program identifies whether the problem arose from:
